Dare You To Move

To complement my previous posts on personal power, I want to add the video of an inspirational song which is one of my all-time favorite from Switchfoot. The song is titled Dare You To Move.

The song talks about choosing your response when you fall down, to pick yourself up and move on as though nothing has happened. It’s the tension between who you are, and who you want to be.

Switchfoot, which is one of my all-time favorite bands, has many great songs and Dare You To Move is one of their best ever. This song was also featured in Mandy Moore’s film A Walk To Remember, at one of its moving moments.

I’ll let the words of the song speak for itself. I hope this song has an impact on you as it has had on me. Feed your mind and enjoy the music video!

Choosing the Path of Personal Power (Part 3) – Terry Fox

You may have heard of the Terry Fox run, an annual charity non-competitive marathon event held in numerous countries around the world in commemoration of Canadian cancer activist Terry Fox, and his Marathon of Hope, and to raise money for cancer research. Do you know how the Terry Fox story began?
