7 Tips on How to Relax Your Eyes at the Computer

Thank goodness our modern day computer screens (LCD, LED types) are way better and definitely easier on the eyes than the old big green CRT monitors that could literally burn your eyes. Well, at least that was what it felt like back then. However, you can still accumulate unnecessary eye strains if you’re not mindful of how you’re using your eyes while at the computer.

Many of us spend hours daily on the computer and our eyes are glued to them, causing undue stress plus adding tension to our bodies, especially the neck, shoulders and back. We pick up unhealthy bodily habits and patterns that over time, become normal to us. And yet we wonder why our eyesights are getting worse and why we get headaches etc.

9 Powerful Questions To Get What You Want

Here are 9 (and a bonus) powerful, coaching questions you can use in your journey of personal development to get what you want in any area of your life:

1. What do you want?

Nothing is more important and straightforward than this fundamental question. What do you want in your life? Many adults whom I’ve asked this question often take a long time on this. However, they have no problem telling me what they do not want through many life experiences and pains they’ve gone through. On the other hand, when this question is presented to little children, their face would instantly beamed up and they do not hesitate to make known what they want, loud and clear, and repeatedly. Unlike grown ups, their clarity are not dulled by past disappointments and failures.

By looking at the wheel of life, identify and write down what do you want in each area of your life. You can choose one obvious area for improvement, for a start. If you do not know, ask yourself this “What if I do know? What if I have childlike faith, what do I want?”

Process vs Result

Here’s a thought and question to ponder, to feed your mind. Recently I saw a post on Facebook asking public opinions on which is more important for performance: Process or Result?

Naturally, a question like this will draw attention to vote for one or the other. When I paused and pondered on the question for a while, I thought that both process and result are very much inseparable. The question shouldn’t be which is more important, it should be which is more important to focus on? I also thought that result is the outcome of doing the right processes well. I joined the discussion and gave my two cents by commenting:

Results will take care of themselves when the right processes are done rightly. Here’s a Jim Rohn quote, “Success is nothing more than a few simple disciplines, practiced every day; while failure is simply a few errors in judgment, repeated every day.”

After giving it more thought I’m convinced that focusing on processes is THE KEY to peak performance. In this blog post, I’ll elaborate more by using an example from my peak performance experience.

Your Brilliant Mind = Your Brilliant Life

We all heard of the classical quote mens sana in corpore sano (a healthy mind in a healthy body). I also believe that a brilliant mind can make a brilliant life.

What do I mean by ‘brilliant’?
